Casa Grande

I love this hotel. I stay at Casa Grande everytime I go to Miami Beach. It is in a prime location, the rooms are huge w/ large flat screens, and the staff is friendly.

The location is the very best you may imagine: just across the beach, and steps from the landmarks of the true South Beach : News Cafe', Armani Exchage Store, Kenneth Cole Store, Puerto Sagua Restaurant , Pelican Restaurant, Gap Store, Casa Casaruina-Versace's Mansion, CVS and Walgreen Pharmacy,Hispaniola Way..

The decor is very cool, contemporary in the style of Philippe Stark, on a smaller scale, and has European flavour.

The clientele is mostly from France, Italy and Spain : international crowd.

We were two couple and we shared a 2 bedroom apt. with kitchen, with large fridge and all tools to prepare a 10 course meal.

We had breakfast and lunch prepared by our ladies in the huge terrace.For dinner we were used to go out. Plasma TV in living room and 25" screen TV in every room with DVD and CD player. Venetian blinds, food flooring.

Service excellent, a little slow, little personnel. Extremely clean, Aveda Spa products in the bathroom.

We were from France, we were in the very heart of South Beach and we felt like at home !! :-)

It's a great value, right on the beach, and has a very helpful staff.

The hotel sits right across the street from the beach which is lovely. The rooms are homey and very comfortable. I would stay in this hotel again.

This hotel made me feel elegant: When you first walk in, there is a sheer drape in the front entrance to make you feel important. It gives an expensive feel.

The location was excellent. The room was a large suite without a window view. The hotel offered nothing else except access to the South Beach area. While not bad, the furniture was noisy and torn. It also had a kitchen.
