These are very interesting times for us. We were recently named Money Magazines favorite bed and breakfast. Some of the first guests to book a room because of the article stopped in a few days early on their way to Taos to see the place they'd reserved. At the time, we had a family staying in all 3 rooms of the main house, playing cards, drinking beer and generally having a good time in the main room. Afterwards the couple called and demanded that we cancel their reservation because the atmosphere was entirely inappropriate. Many people are making the leap from favorite to best Bed and Breakfast in Santa Fe. Thats not us, we want to be a fun place for fun people. We don't compete with the entire high brow, high dollar places here in Santa Fe. Instead we are the fun, less expensive Bed and Breakfast for the everyman, a rare find in downtown Santa Fe. We may not have fresh flowers and little stuffed animals in every room, but as one guest said, Thats just less stuff for me to knock over. Casa Del Toro Suites Bed and Breakfast is a very sweet place, and we enjoy the nice, interesting and relaxed people who are drawn here. Our bed and breakfast is sixty-five miles north of Albuquerque and eighty miles south of Taos, in the heart of historic Santa Fe, New Mexico. Experience our freshly prepared breakfasts, freshly baked treats, and New Mexican hospitality. Browse our site and discover the luxurious accommodations, numerous amenities, and fantastic location, less than three blocks from the plaza, that await you at Casa Del Toro Suites Bed and Breakfast.

"Money Magazine's favorite place to stay in Santa Fe. Traditional bed and breakfast rooms plus one and two bedroom suites with kitchens and living rooms. AFFORDABLE!! Casa del Toro is an exquisite adobe compound located in the heart of beautiful downtown Santa Fe (only 3 blocks from the plaza). Offering its guests a taste of this historic city like no other. Casa del Toro is around the corner from the Georgia O'Keefe Museum and is in close proximity to some of the world's most fascinating landmark and historic structures. By its mere location, there is an abundance of delightful things to do and places to see."

They were not at the address shown on the internet. When I checked in, I was told I hadn't paid enough for the room, so, no breakfast. This in a B&B!!! The room looked nothing like the internet showed and was a little on the shabby side. Floors creaked, furniture and furnishings old and run down. Parking was not near the room and I was told to move my car to another parking place only 10 feet away from where I'd originally been told to park it, just another hassle. Location is good. I would not stay there again, nor would I recommend it.
The Casa del Toro BNB offers a variety of rooms scattered about different houses. I stayed in two different units, each for a couple of nights. Sampling different lodgings is an interest, and I've stayed at 4 other places in Santa Fe in the p
