We stayed here for a week in February 2006. It’s not an upscale, all service, busy hotel if that is what you are looking for.
If, however, you want to stay at a nice, spacious, very clean, relaxing, casual hotel with the most wonderful, wonderful service, this is the place. From the hotel lobby to the restaurant/bar to the maid service, every encounter was tremendous.
One example: our luggage went MIA somewhere in LA, Calif. For four days the hotel staff called, tracked down and successfully had our luggage delivered to our room. They constantly updated us on the status until it arrived. They were amazing! Also, we met our new best friends out at the pool and will never forget our time at the Casa Del Mar!
