This former beach club is right on the beach, two blocks from the convention center and Santa Monica Pier. Third Street Promenade's shops and restaurants are five blocks. Recreating a 1920s Renaissance Revival-style resort, this smoke-free hotel offers a spa with body and facial treatments and an oceanfront restaurant, lounge, and pool. .

33 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The Hotel Lobby is beautiful, but the rooms are not the same quality. The Hotel used very nice materials remodeling; however, their attention to detail was poor. The restaurant is very expensive and parking in the area is problematic (valet or meters).
I am not likely
to return to the Casa Del Mar.
I would not recommend it to friends.
I have been in this gift shop a few times. The clerk is more interested in her phone conversations then helping the guests. She seems very put out when you walk in.
Everything and more that one could hope for in a restaurant in such a fine property that screams California's finest. Lively atmosphere and succulent cuisine, Catch is definitely the best in California living.

One late night, some years back, I proposed to my wife in this hotel. Every so often I stop-by and reminisce. Great place, great service, great location, great view.
