Family-owned and operated, the Cartier Place Suite Hotel in Ottawa offers all-suite guestrooms and a downtown location in Canada's capital city. Located in a quiet neighborhood between the Rideau Canal and the trendy boutique area of Elgin Street, the hotel is five blocks from Parliament Hill and two kilometers from both the National Gallery of Canada and the University of Ottawa. This is a full-service hotel and has features designed for everyone from business travelers to families with young children to animal lovers (pets are allowed for a daily fee). Select floors of the hotel are smoke-free. The Cartier Place Suite Hotel features a garden patio with a children's playground and shuffleboard court. Guests may enjoy the indoor swimming pool, spa tub, and sauna. Laundry facilities are installed in each floor. On-site Italian restaurant Café Mezzaluna serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meeting facilities can accommodate up to 195 people, and high-speed wireless Internet access is available for a fee. The indoor pool features a spa tub and sauna. Secure parking is available (surcharge). All 250 guestrooms are balcony suites, and include sofa beds, kitchens and cable television.
