My girlfriend and I just got back from staying at the Carter, although the staff was rude, apart from the security guy at reception who was ok, the hotel was basic, but the shower worked well and the location was second to none. I would stay there again for the location and the price which was also good for what you get, don’t expect any nice welcomes at the lobby. But, as I say, for a basic hotel, go for it. We stayed in room 2237 on the 22nd floor if you get this one you might find it ok. Good luck!
