The Carmel Village Inn provides modest accommodations in the heart of Carmel-By-The-Sea, the picturesque seaside village filled with art studios and galleries, numerous antique shops, hundreds of boutiques and small, intimate cafes and restaurants. The Inn, located at Ocean and Juniper, is directly across from Saks Fifth Avenue in Carmel Plaza. One of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, Carmel-By-The-Sea is a one- square mile village nestled in a pine forest above a spectacular white beach. Just north of Carmel is the world-famous Pebble Beach Golf Course and 17-Mile Drive. Visitors head south to see the spectacular Big Sur coastline and to drive down scenic Highway 1. The Inn offers 34 exterior-access guestrooms on two floors. All rooms are decorated in California country- style and include refrigerators, cable television and Internet access. The hotel serves complimentary continental breakfasts each morning in the lobby around the fireplace. Parking is complimentary.

For a person like me on a budget, this was a splurge, but it was worth it. The location was excellent, the room charming, and the staff friendly. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to my favorite place in the world....
My wife and I stayed there two times ( 2005 and 2007) . We enjoyed both of them. The location is excellent. The rooms are simple and clean. We do not search anymore any other hotel at Carmel because we feel like home there. Staff is very friendly.. ...
Great value and location. My parents stay here all the time and recommended the place to us. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. The continental breakfast was nice. We will definitely return.
