Convenient location for Carmel, Pebble, Big Sur, etc.(end of Freeway 1). Also directly across from reasonable restaurants, etc. Very reasonably priced compared to downtown alternatives. Luxurious, quiet rooms with lotza amenities. Found it on the Internet and were very happy with the overall experience!

This is the 2nd time we stayed here. We enjoyed our first stay, but the 2nd stay, which was just recently on Sept 21 and 22, 2009, ruined any good thoughts we had. There was absolutey no hot water to take a shower at 8 PM in evening because the staff was washing towels and using ALL the hot water. Leaving the water in the sink run to see if we could get hot water, only led to the sink overflowing to the floor since the sink trap was plugged and the overflow did'nt perform either. Staff was somewhat apologetic but only could confirm that we'd have hot water in the AM. The hotel is overrated for the price we paid and we will have to go somewhere else next time we visit the area.

We were in Carmel for a 3 day stay. The room was fine but the website gave the impression that Inn was quite grand and actually it's quite average. The room view was of the Chevron gas station. The hot tubs were far from HOT...lukewarm at best. The fitness room was poor and tiny. No lock on the bathroom door. We stayed in a deluxe room, the lighting was hard on the eyes, not sure what type of light bulbs are used in the lamps. On a positive note, close to restaurants, etc.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Carmel Mission Inn.
I might recommend it to friends.

Newly remodeled with a spa like decor. Plush bathrobes, flat screen TV, nice pool and double spa outdoors. Pet friendly hotel. Great location next to quaint shops and eateries. Our room was near the maids closet and elevator, which was noisey. Ask f
We stayed at the Carmel Mission Inn on December 27, 2008. Upon packing our bags and getting ready to leave our room, my son found a used condom and wrapper under the bed. Needless to say we were pretty disgusted with the whole thing. Gross!! Aft
I booked a king size room here for myself, my wife, my baby and our two small dogs. When we checked into our room it reeked of cigarette smoke. My wife is very sensitive to that and obviously it is unacceptable for the baby. All of the rooms in t

We had a great stay in March 2006. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and felt fairly luxurious for a Best Western. The robes were a nice touch as well. The service was friendly and the location was good for being in the village. Obviously it's a drive to downtown Carmel but there are many dining and shopping options right next to the hotel, which was great. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the experience.

Good
I found the front desk to be very friendly and helpful. I got to the room and noticed it clean and tidy. You should be happy with the hotel WIFI. The bed was nothing to write home about. My only complaint was the light that stayed on all night...

Okay
In short - we were pleased with the location and it is PET FRIENDLY. Having said that, we were underwhelmed based on the price. A word to the wise, photos may show a canopy over the beds but our room didn't have one. A couple of other cons - if you...
