The hotel itself its okay. However, the staff and customer service of the facility is completely inadequate. When we checked into the hotel the front desk clerk was not familiar with the hotel itself (even thou we were told the clerk had worked there for 3 years). We had simple questions as to the shuttle service and the restaurants of the facility. Of course, she was not able to answer any of our questions, instead she referred us to Guest Services, which was not open at the time. When we attempted to get a hold of Guest Services the next day, we were placed on hold by the front office or when we were transfered to them, there was no answer. This happened at least 5 times. Also, we made the mistake of purchasing tickets from the hotel to a dinner show, they of course misinformed us of the starting time and because of that we missed the first 30 mins of the show. When we complained to the Hotel manager that night, he was very rude to us, did not offer any apologies, blamed Guest Services for all of the "confusion" and furthermore asked us if we had requested a copy of the contract between the hotel and guest services, which of course, according to him they were two different entities and had no relations with the hotel itself. Go figure! We had at least 4 other occasions in which the staff was very rude and did not offer any assistance. MOST IMPORTANTLY, IF YOUR A MARRIED WOMAN NOT TRAVELING WITH YOUR HUSBAND BE PREPARED TO ANSWER QUESTIONS FROM THE HOTEL STAFF AS TO HIS WEAR ABOUTS & IF IN FACT HE PAID FOR THE TRIP. SO SIMPLY BE PREPARED TO BE OFFENDED!

Okay
Front desk was nice enough. As soon as we arrived to our room I noticed "bang" the stained chair as we walked in. The first flush of our toliet brought on a wave of dirty water from the toliet all over the bathroom floor on onto the carpet in our...

Okay
I had high hopes based on other reviews, but the hotel is a mix of good and bad. Bad in the guestroom, rest of the resort is OK. We had a 1 bedroom, non smoking. When we arrived, it had been "cleaned" but it was still dirty. As soon as I opened...

Good
The Caribe Royale is a hotel that I would consider 4-stars on a 5-star scale. Room rates at the Caribe Royal range from $170 - $300 per night, depending on the size of the room. I happened to stay in what they consider a "king-sized" suite, which...

The hotel is very convenient to the Disney parks and other popular Orlando destinations. For a suite hotel, the rooms were on the small side with little space for a family to unpack their bags but the beds were very comfortable. Of course it was...

Excellent
My husband and two teenagers stayed at this hotel for 1 week. It truly resembled the photos on the website. The pool was AWESOME with the waterfall and water slide! There was a more 'kid' friendly side of the pool and a more adult 'hang out' side....

Stayed at Caribe Royale end of Dec 07. Pros: Suites are big for families, Refrigerator is nice, close to parks, kids enjoyed the nice pool area. Cons: Not worth the money, Hotel is in need of renovations, bedding is old, no mattress pad, spring was broken in sofa bed, shower curtain falling down, motor in jacuzzi in King suite was loud, no separate light for jacuzzi, corridors to rooms very very cold, room was fairly clean. It could have been cleaner. Furniture needed upgrading. All the money was spent on the Lobby. Booked the hotel because I thought it was a good deal initially with the advance purchase rate and the pictures of the hotel on their website looked beautiful. However, the hotel has lots of room for improvement.

Good
This was a good value, we needed a seperate bedroom or suite and did not want to pay alot. The hotel is pretty clean. There are signs of wear and tear and some things could stand to be updated, especially the blankets.
