This place used to be called the Travelers Inn. I firs went there in December of 1991. It was clean and safe.
Times have changed.
Fast forward to July 25, 2008. This place is no longer an inexpensive motel as it is a VERY-low-income family apartment building. The parking lot was dirty, had a few camper trailers in it, and there were several groups of people hanging around the balconies smoking.
In the first room I was given, the lock didn't work and the deadbolt didn't work. Plus, the room smelled a bit musty and felt muggy. I went back to the front desk and got a different room. The lock worked, but the deadbolt didn't. I went downstairs and cancelled my booking, citing that I didn't feel safe at this place. I was charged a service fee (understandable). DO NOT STAY HERE. Seriously. And one more thing: the motels adjacent to it didn't look all that safe and secure either.
