Caravelle Resort Hotel and Villas Hotel - Page 2

We found it several years ago while staying at another hotel. We were looking for a better hotel and location. We decided to try it out the next year. We did, we liked it and we have stayed there for the last four years.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I thought there could be more lounge chairs around the pools.

I enjoyed the stay overall. I had problems getting checked in and getting front desk to answer the phone when I called. I usually had to go to the check in area to get service. The maids came very early each day and disturbed us.

This is the worst place to stay in Myrtle Beach! Our sheets upon check in had not been changed on the Murphy bed. There were not enough personnel on staff to even bring us clean ones. Also, we received no apology. The staff member was rude upon registration. Our trash was never emptied in the four days I stayed except for one day; even then the trash in the bathroom wasn't emptied! I had to ask for a remote to the TV! Renovations are currently in progress. This place is a dump! I do not recommend staying at this hotel.
