i just want you all to know, i have never written a bad review on anyone till now. this was the worst hotel i have everrr stayed at in my life. i took my 5 kid's and two of there friend's and we stayed for 5 night's. check-in was ok . but it went down hill from there. i was really dissapointed in the room it was suppose to be one of there new room's. but it was not clean at all. the first two day's we claened the room are self and the 3 day ask for houskeeping to clean it , they never did and the front desk was very rude when i called to complain. then on saturday night we came in pretty late and the security guerd stop me when i was going in the parking garage and said they was full and he wanted me to park at the entrace to the garage, i ask him are you sure and he assured me that my car would be fine. well at 8 in the morning the front desk called and told me i had 10 min's to get down there and move my car or they would tow it, and said i was lieing about what the security guy had said. then on monday i had asked for a late check out and the front desk had said ok well about 10 min's later they call up to the room and tell me they are sendind securtiy to put us out and they also was ging to charge my credit card for anothert full day and it was only 11.30 in the morning. i called and cancelled my bank card. because i didn;t trust them and they sent about 15 housekeeper's and maintence men up there standing outside our room they was threating my kid's and cussing me out. i have never been treated so bad anywhere like this in my life. they wont tell me whow the manager or the owner is so i am going to make a complaint against the hotel with the better bussiness bureo

Hello, I normally don't write reviews, but this experience was so bad for my family and I that I wish to warn everyone away. We had booked a week in advance for leisure and arrived to find arrogant staff at the front desk. We had asked to review the room before checking in and found that we had a broken shower and no water in the bathroom. When i called to the front desk from the room, I was told by the manager Scott that we could get another room and it would be okay to check back in after supper. Minutes later, Daniel from the front desk, called the room and demanded that we checkin immediately and to stop loafing. Upon going to the lobby to meet him in person, Daniel was extremely rude to my wife and I resulting in our cancellation and request of a full refund. We were given a refund cancellation number and still have not been paid our refund. We left and went to Beach Cove resort in North Myrtle and had a wonderful time. The Beach Cove was $25 more a night and the difference in a one star and a four star.

The place is very ran down. Not well maintained. The day we got there to check in our room was given to someone else I spent over an hour and a half to get in a different room for 1 night then to move to original room the next day was another waste of 3 hours. The only good part was our housekeeper she was great, and the maintenance man Mark was great. The pools in front of the Ocean Inn side were good but the hottub was not hot. As for the indoor pools they were nasty and smelled. On 1 day in particular there was feces in one of the inside hottubs. Regardless of how little or much you are looking to spend AVOID this hotel.

My family stayed there from July 19 through July 26 & we loved it. Check in went fast. We stayed on the 10th floor in angle ocean view, which was what we paid for. Our room was clean & the maid service was good. Even the maintainence crew was friendley when we saw them.

My mother is in a wheelchair & the only complaints we have was slow elevators & they were always packed, only 2 go to the 10th floor . Hard to get wheelchair in. Plus only allowed 1 car in the garage & not many spots on the side. My mom drives a car & I had her wheelchair in my truck, had problems with that.

Other that that we had a great time at Captains Quarters & will definately go back again!

CHECKING IN ON SCHEDULE DAY A REAL NIGHTMARE NO ORGAINZATION-ROOMS TERRIBLE FLOORS THAT MAKE YOUR FEET BLACK..MAID SERVICE SO SLOW DIDN'T GET TO ROOM UNTIL LATE AFTERNOON COULDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH OR CLEANED AT ALL..HALLWAYS SMELL LIKE ROTTEN TRASH AND URINE...POOLS WERE CLEAN BUT VERY OLD NEEDS UPDATED, NEEDS PAINTED, TILES REPLACE ETC. HOTEL IT SELF VERY RUN DOWN IN POOR CONDITION. WILL NEVER BOOK WITH CAPTAIN QUARTERS AGAIN. BEEN COMING THE PASSED 8 YEARS BUT NO MORE!!!!
