The inn was uncooperative, uncommunicative, and has poor accounting practices. Very displeased and ended up canceling my wedding reception to be held here.

I found the Inn to be very charming. We stayed in the historic building itself. The floors upstairs are creaky, but that is to be expected in a 100+ year old building. We went out on th edock and the place didn't seem to be in a state of disrepai at all. At $105 per night for a water view room we felt like we got what we paid for. The restaurant is closed, but the continental breakfast was one of the better ones I've seen, and the staff was happy to give us dinner recommendations. We will defiantly consider visiting again, but maybe not until they have a restaurant.

I would not recommend staying here unless the price is lowered to a more appropriate level as this is not 3 or 4 star accomodation in my view. We stayed two nights in a Lagoon room and found it to be well below what we would expect of a $165.00 per night room. The double bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable, the tap dripped and the fixtures were old and stained. The gardens were lovely but the dock on the water was closed likely due to safety concerns. We were fortunate that there were not many guests when we stayed so it was fairly quiet but being an older building in a motel style it would be best to stay on the top floor. I'm not sure about the inn rooms but when having breakfast on the main floor the creaking of people walking above was very loud. The breakfast was fine and the inn keeper was very friendly.
