This hotel has been recently renovated and is located a few blocks away from the United States Capitol, the National Mall, the Smithsonian Museums, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, National Gallery of Art, Navy Yard, Ft. McNair, and Bolling Air Force Base. The rooms are very comfortable with new mattresses, and there are also extra large tv-screens and nice bathrooms. The lobby is impressive, and the hotel also has a competition-size swimming pool with seasonal poolside dining. The restaurant here serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and there are many other restaurants nearby aswell. There are plenty of activities available near here here, including tennis, basketball, a children's playground and a huge amount of meeting and banqueting space in the hotel with a grand ballroom. The staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
