male with an economy budget, traveling for leisure
Spend your money elsewhere. My first experience with this hotel was being charged a $30 extra person fee for bringing my wife along on the trip. That'll teach me! Next, I was charged $40 for valet parking (OK, but $40, in Washington DC, really?). So, a cheap, inexpensive hotel gets into the realm of pretty expensive. For that money, the room should not look like it was designed in the late 70s, and I'm not talking retro chic. The view was terrible. The location was tolerable, although if I planned the trip better I would've booked closer to the mall. The bed was pretty comfortable.
