The hotel is 1 step above a motel 6. The room smelled like bad body odor. The rooms are only cleaned on Wednesdays. The staff was not interested in customer service. I had to check out 3 days early.
I have stayed here two summers in a row.

Good
I have stayed here two summers in a row. I really enjoy it for the price. It is located close to stores and grocery and good restaurants. I come here for a Creighton lab session and even the drive in to Creighton is fine (15-20 minutes). The...

Good
Honestly, I picked this b/c it was the cheapest, but it turned out to be really nice. It is located right off of the main road, near shopping (including a Whole Foods) so it made our trip easier to just cook in the room! The staff were nice, there...

Okay
Desk clerks were rude and not willing to help. Then stated that they were going to charge me for anything we used before I even got into the room to know what there was to be charged for. Not necessary! We checked out early to go to another hotel.

This was my first stay at a Candlewood. What a pleasure. I love the beautiful facilities, the room that is offered, and the help-yourself canteen. I also loved the price.
The rooms were large and comfortable. Internet service was readily available.
I am very likely
to return to the Candlewood Suites Omaha.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The person on the phone when I made my reservation was very friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel, location, and area restaurants. We stopped in the area while in Omaha three weeks before our stay to check out the hotel. There was a very nice lady at the front desk who gave us a peek of our room and gave us coupon books and travel packets for Omaha. The location was just minutes to the Omaha stadium to see the College World Series, minutes from the casinos. Everything was so smooth at the hotel. The night shift was very helpful on our first night when arriving so late. I had called and told them we were running late and were told the room would be there when we got there. You couldn't ask for better employees representing a company.
They greeted me with a smile. They always used proper greets, not saying hello guys with my wife present, but saying good evening. It is the best we have been treated in years. Even the other couple with us was thoroughly impressed by the front desk personnel. The employees made you feel like you were the most important customer.

The staff was all very courteous and helpful. The cleaning staff was very efficient. The only two problems I really experienced were the chemicals used in the weekly cleaning. The spray they used as they were leaving the room had an awful smell. I do wish they would have kept the same cleaning person for the rooms, as the information to not use this spray in my room was not passed on to other cleaning staff. As I was there for twelve weeks, you can see how this could be a problem. Also, and this was the one thing I was very unhappy about, was a fire alarm test. This was done without any prior notice to customers staying in the hotel. The alarm went off for approximately ten minutes the first time, then again for about five minutes. While this may not seem like a big deal to some, I happened to have an extremely bad migraine headache that day, and the sound was very painful to me.
For the most part the rooms were quiet and restful to return to after a long day at work. The workout room was very nice to use after a long day, especially during the cold winter day.

The young woman who worked the front desk on the night I arrived was nothing short of superlative. She was friendly, helpful, efficient and nothing short of terrific. I didn't want to wait for the delivery service to bring me a dinner and she directed me to an excellent local Italian restaurant that had a wonderful take out meal ready for me in 20 minutes. It was a three-minute drive from the hotel.
The helpful suggestions to ensure I had a good dinner in the comfort of my room (I despise eating alone in restaurants) allowed me to enjoy my dinner in peace, read and watch a movie. I shouldn't have had the brownie with my meal; but I was as comfortable and contented as one can be on business travel when I turned out the light.

I might recommend it to friends.
