Candlelight Inn was voted a 2007 Top 10 Most Romantic Inn and is a 5 Star rated Napa Bed and Breakfast on Tripadvisor. This is not your typical Grandmother's type place. Our decadent 3 course gourmet breakfasts are fantastic, we have flat screen TVs, wireless Internet, public computer and a great pool area with tended gardens on the banks of the Napa Creek. We are 4 minutes west of downtown in a private, secluded cul-de-sac that is surrounded by Redwoods and giant Cedar trees. We delight in serving couples on their romantic getaways for Anniversaries, Honeymoons and Birthday celebrations. 49 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
As we become more discerning travelers, my honey and I find that it is becoming harder and harder to find places that "have it all." The Candlelight Inn bed and breakfast in Napa is one place where the rooms, the breakfast, the staff (concierge) and the details are all handled in an exceptional manner.
First off, the drive into the property gives one a full frontal view of the beautiful Tudor-style inn. At night, the lights are wonderful.
The tour of the grounds we received included an amazing giant redwood grove, a cork oak tree (the type that fits into wine bottles) and the Napa Creek. Nature everywhere and the pool, beautiful. Once again at night when it is lit, the view very romantic.
Our room had a private deck (Lady Brittany) overlooking the large backyard area. We took a Jacuzzi tub - great while enjoying the fireplace in the background.
Breakfast the next morning was a true 3 course gourmet treat. Other places that call themselves bed and breakfasts without serving a great breakfast are on my list.
We had wireless in the room and there was a computer for everyone's use downstairs.
All in all the Candlelight is first class - a B&B that doesn't disappoint.
