Canad Inns Polo Park Hotel - Page 1

Was not impressed as this was my first and last time there. My understanding of a buffet meal is you help yourself to whatever is put on for the buffet table not they sever you and when we returned to our table the menus were taken away....why? When I ordered breakfast I had asked for basted eggs soft and received them med-well done. The service was poor as we had to requested coffee on more then one occasion. So I would not be recommending this place to anyone.

I was taking a group of teenagers (13-14 yrs old) for a trip and we had a stop over in Winnipeg. This hotel has the best deal for us because you can fit six people in one of those family rooms - one full bed + four bunks. I slept in one of the bunks (I'm 5'7") and it was tight. So they are really meant for small kids. It was crowded but we only stayed for one night to catch an early morning flight. There is a pool for the kids (and adults) but my group just stayed and played the complimentary video games. The little fridge was nice for keeping drinks cold. We had no noise problems. Overall, if you are travelling in a group, needing a short stay, want to save some money but don't want to stay in a hostel, this family room choice in Canad Inn is alright.

Stayed here a back in April, and have no real complaints. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tried to book a theme room for the kids but was more of a last minute decision so they were all booked up(my fault). They did give us a quick tour of one while it was being cleaned, and I will be booking a weekend in one for the kids real soon. Looked like fun. Waterpark was fun, kids always enjoy the pool and slides. Altos resturaunt was okay, nothing special. Beds were okay, nice to have the fridge in the room for snacks and juice for the kids. All in all a good weekend. Like I mentioned earlier though, looking forward to the theme room for the kids next time.
