I stayed at the hotel on business for three weeks, and when I first arrived, I was excited. The grounds were great, the room looked nice, and I was told about the breakfast.
Well, let me tell you, the first week the bathroom door would not shut, thank god I was alone. The fridge was growing mold. I woke up itchy every day, I wasnt sure if it was bed bugs.
The breakfast was horrible, it wasnt even real food. The best thing was the fruit, and even that was good only on Monday, but by Friday they just cut the same fruit into smaller pieces. The plates and varieties got smaller and smaller each day. They charged my credit card, instead of my business card, and it took days to get it fixed.
The second week I got a new room that had just been painted so it reeked and I had horrible headaches. The bathroom door would not close, I turned the faucet on, and I got drenched! I had the same itchy mornings, and my credit card was charged again!
The third week I got the same room as the first week. My credit card was still not fixed and nobody would help me at the front desk. They were extremely rude and kept putting me off to someone else. The Manager talked to me like I was a child, and made me feel like it was my entire fault. He told me he would fix the problem. Well days later I called him, and he has the nerve to tell me that he "couldnt get a hold of me". I was staying in his hotel. I filed with the Better Business Bureau. Just today, I got my money back. Go across the street. Im sure that hotel is better and staffed with better people.

The Campbell Inn in is located literally a 2-minute walk from the Pruneyard shopping and entertainment center which has at least 8 top quality restaurants, a movie theater, Tom's market grocery store and an amazing coffee shop with free wi-fi, etc. The cleaning service is top notch, brought in apparently from Hiltons and other hotels in the San Francisco/San Jose area. The front desk staff is the best I've experienced, courteous and fun to talk to if they have a free minute, and will do anything for you... I had to have multiple root canals that were unexpected, and the Campbell Inn Hotel and Resort offered to drive me to and from those appointments, and numerous others over the weeks I've been here in Campbell, California, consulting. I have experienced different room styles that they have, some with huge whirlpool/jacuzzi tubs, microwaves, suites, and all have far exceeded any normal expectations considering the low cost. My advice for other visitors would be to try a jacuzzi suite, they are a great experience, and shouldn't be missed.

Good
From the look of the outside of the hotel, you wouldn't believe how expensive it is. OK, it looks clean, etc., but it's located very close to the freeway and doesn't have grounds to relax in. Perfect for the business traveller (it's alongside the...

Okay
If you are looking for a simple hotel room in the Campbell area then I wouldn't recommend the Campbell Inn near the Pruneyard. These hotel rooms are very costly but are well worth the price if you can afford it. Each room is extremely large and is ...
