I stayed here for three days and two nights with my nine and thirteen year old boys this past summer. We stayed in a cabin with a pitcher instead of running water and an outhouse instead of a bathroom. The food, while billed as gourmet, was only fair. The only thing to do was take mosquito-filled guided naturalist-led tours which were pretty boring, unless you are really into learning about the flora and fauna of the region.

The staff had no patience for the normal playing that young boys will do, and tried to bill me for a trekking pole they said my boys damaged which was, in fact, damaged by the visiting naturalist. They take you into the park on a six hour trip, and out on a four hour trip, and don't even provide so much as a bottle of water for the guests. The first dinner is served in a parking lot outside the bus. We saw all the animals there were to see during the six hour bus trip. In retrospect, there was no need to stay in the park at all, much less at such an expensive and uptight place.
