Okay
I visited in early December for three nights. The hotel restaurant was closed every night for private Christmas parties. Ate elsewhere. Housekeeping bangs things into the walls every morning at 8am and yell to each other in the hallways...

Excellent
The hotel staff were very friendly, and they were eager to provide great service. The room was clean, and although not new, it was well maintained. The service at the restaurant was very good, and the service at the bar was ok. The location was...
62 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The hotel had been recently remodeled and it was very up to date. The rooms were clean and spacious. The service in all the areas of the hotel were excellent.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Camden Court.
I might recommend it to friends.

Good
First two night stay booked through travel agent in 2005. Was satisfied with hotel, location, and amenities so self-booked another 2 night stay in May 2007. Camden Court has parking space available in the courtyard and that's a big plus if you still ...
52 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
Stayed here recently, just after St. Patricks weekend. Not knocking the staff they were...well.. staff but I've never had the problem of staying in a Dublin hotel and finding it hard to converse with staff until this trip. The Irish speak English and a lot better than we Americans do, too! The last time I was in Ireland it was full of Irish people now they seem to have opened their doors to the world and they seem to insist that the staff don't speak a word of English!
Anyway after shopping around and reading reviews I got a deal...or so I thought, then I realized that the hotel has its own website! Their prices were cheaper too although it didn't look like that initially because they didn't charge any 'service fees' which are never quoted in the actual price for some bizarre reason.
If you would like hot showers and good service, I suggest going elsewhere.
The staff have also failed to do courses in satisfying customer complaints. Over the two nights we were there, the staff repeatedly said: just "wait 15 minutes" ...

Good
This hotel was very accomadating, the hot water in our room went out and they moved us to a new room immediately. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The food a the restuarant was first rate.
i thought camden court hotel was a brilliant spot for people who wanted to be near the places like temple bar and graffton street but at a resonable price. we got a bus into the town every time but you could walk in its not even 10 mins on the bus....
I especially enjoyed the kindness of every individual that I came into touch with. The service staff were nothing short of remarkable. I look forward to going back in the fall of 2005. The pub was fun, the food excellent and well worth every euro I ...
