The staff were very friendly and ready to help in all possible ways to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I had a great time at the California Suites Hotel eating good food, admiring nature and introspecting. After months of continuous working, I wanted some days off to spend some time with myself, to relax and introspect and California Suites Hotel turned out to be a perfect choice for me. The pleasing surroundings of the hotel, the tropical flowers, lush green gardens helped me connect with the nature and made me relax on my 6-day stay. All I did at the hotel was eat, visit the nearby San Diego attractions (mercifully, all the great places to see in the city and located near this hotel) and introspect. And after a long time I I enjoyed some healthy breakfast at a hotel. In the meanwhile, I went for sightseeing some attractions such as Old Town nearby. Overall it was a good, pleasant time. And yes, not to forget, I also got a fabulous discount of 20% on room rates. A discount was surely a relief in these tough times.

On my last business trip to San Diego, I had to stay in the city for about two months. I stayed at the California Suites Hotel which is just 15 minutes away from the airport. I was very happy with their extended stay package. Their prices are very reasonable and the rooms are very clean and well maintained. I stayed in an air-conditioned room complete with facilities like TV, telephone, refrigerator and microwave. They also provide a weekly maid service and there is a guest laundry in the hotel premises. To top it all, their continental breakfast is sufficient to start the day afresh. That was one of the best value hotels I have ever stayed in and will also do so on future visits.

Due to my hectic job I hardly ever find the time to go on a leisurely vacation with my family. This time I finally decided to give ourselves a break and headed to San Diego. And in the calm environment of the California Suites Hotel, I could relax and connect with myself. The serene surroundings, the peaceful environment was truly a wonderful break from our daily mundane lives. Our room was well furnished and very clean which is hard to find in many hotels nowadays. And not to forget, we really enjoyed the large warm pool in the hotel. It was a great place to relax. The one week we spent there helped us all to really have a great time together after a long long time. I would recommend this hotel to all families.

The last time I was in San Diego for a business trip, I stayed at the California Suites Hotel in the heart of the city at the suggestion of a colleague. The hotel had truly economical tariffs and the rooms as well as the hotel premises were neat and very well kept. I particularly enjoyed their complimentary continental breakfast and very convenient location. I will suggest California Suites Hotel to all my friends.

I had expected to end up in a pretty bad place because I booked last minute. Boy was I surprised, it was VERY clean, probably the cleanest hotel I have seen for the price. It was located about 15 minutes to la jolla beach and about 20 from Sea World. The part that I loved is that just right of the hotel there are a great selection of supermarkets: walmart, food 4 less, target, souplantation, and much more. just google them and take a look at the map if you dont believe me! its great! the people are SOOO nice and very accomidating too, my only small (and I mean small) tiff was that the parking was a little tight, but for the price I paid and for the room I really think that this is a great choice for anyone who just wants a simple hotel with a working fridge, ac (didnt use the heater/microwave), and a great location for your vacation. this is it!

We were in San Diego for a conference and research work at the San Diego State University, and even from the tight schedule I managed to take out some time to see some of the city sights with my husband. Thanks to the really convenient location of the California Suites Hotel where we stayed for the 5 day tour, we managed to pack in a lot of activities despite loads of work. The major tourist spots were near the hotel and that made it easy for us to go around. As far as the hotel room is concerned it had all the necessary amenities required for a comfortable stay. Great service and that too at a pocket friendly price. Cool!
