The staff was absolutely useless here. My first stay at this hotel was a nightmare. Upon Check in, I was checked into a room that was not only given to me before it was cleaned but the prior guest still had their luggage in the room! I had been carrying very heavy luggage and had to bring it all the way back to the Front Desk. They apologized and gave me a $75 credit to my room.
My new room was not an upgrade and was missing a few items like The Guide to the hotel, Room Service Menu. There was no fridge, no mini bar and no coffee maker. I went to the Seahorse Lounge to have a drink. When I tried to use my room ID to charge the drinks it was refused! Again I had to speak to the Hotel Manager. She apologized and gave me a new ID that would allow me to use the $75 credit.
Forget trying to get a cocktail while gambling. You'll never find the waitress! They walk by too fast for you to even ask for a drink and sometimes don't pass by for hours. This complaint left me with another apology and $25 credit.
At this point I was no longer interested in anymore credits. I wanted better service. Which will not be found in this hotel.
My experience was a bad one, but that is not to say the hotel did not have ANY positive attributes.
If you can fork over a pretty penny you can dine at restaurants with perhaps the best food in Vegas. RAO was a fabulous bar with very talented and knowledgeable bartenders. The environment is very close and comfy.
Nightlife attracts the younger...Paris Hilton followers. The Pussycat Doll Lounge was packed with them. Why not?! The Lounge was definitely something King Caesar would've been proud of. This was definitely the place to be any night of the week.
Over all, Caesars palace is a place to dine and to party, but not a place to stay.
