The C.W. Worth House Bed and Breakfast is a gracious and comfortable Queen Anne style Victorian Inn located in the heart of the historic district and a short stroll to the River Walk for restaurants and downtown shops. Guests are delighted by the warmth and vitality of the house, the spacious bedrooms with private baths, the common rooms, porches and gardens. The first floor includes a parlor, library and formal dining room, all furnished with antiques.
The seven guestrooms include either a king or queen bed and private bath with shower (two have claw footed tubs and one has a whirlpool). The Rose Suite and Azalea Suite each has a separate sitting room with wicker furniture. Additional amenities in the rooms are desk, telephone, wireless Internet, sitting area, ceiling fan, hair dryer, robes and full-length mirror. The third floor, where three of the guest rooms are located, has a large living room with TV/VCR and game table with puzzles and games and a computer for guests to use.
A complimentary gourmet breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. Guest refrigerators are stocked with complimentary beverages and snacks. For the convenience of the business traveler, fax and copy service is available. Corporate rates are available Sunday through Thursday to single business travelers.
Things to see and do abound including historic home tours, walking tours, museums, the Battleship North Carolina, carriage rides, antiquing and art galleries as well as live theatre and musical events.
