37 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I stayed at this hotel recently while visiting relatives in the nearby town of Gretna. Located in the West Omaha area and about 20 minutes from Eppley Airfield, this hotel's location is ideal for someone that requires close proximity to the Airport while desiring the convenience of the city's major shopping centers.

The rooms were spacious and quiet with pillow top beds that had apparently brand new bedspreads. The room rate includes a buffet breakfast with many choices including egg dishes, sausages, fresh fruit, bakery goods, cereals, and juice.

The swimming pool and whirlpool are well maintained and kept at appropriate temperatures. My only complaint about this area was the lack of pool towels, but this issue was immediately addressed when I informed the front desk. The lady at the front desk did not know perfect English, but had quite a quirky personality, and I rather enjoyed her sincerity and her commitment to serving the customer.

All in all, the stay was a good experience and I have recommended this hotel to my closest friends.

43 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

When we became bored of Omaha after our first day there, the gentleman that works on the front desk on weekdays suggested that we visit Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo, as it is regarded as among the world's best facilities of its kind. For me, the Zoo was an excellent diversion from our sometimes annoying relatives; for the kids, it was just a blast. The next morning, we enjoyed the Hot breakfast that comes complementary with the room; it was such a feast that the kids couldn't use the swimming pool as we had planned because they were too full of food.

The most important criteria by which I judge hotels is also the most basic-that criteria is the comfort of the bed-All the fancy swimming pools, restaurants, and excellent service is worthless to me unless this basic need is met. This hotel had such luxurious bedding that out of the numerous hotels we stayed at during our 2 week trip, this is where I got the best night sleep.

The hotel is in the newer western part of town, which made it conveniently located for us, as we went shopping at Oakview mall and ate at the surrounding restaurants. My only complain would be that because it was a busy hotel, we couldn't find a good parking spot and ended up walking a block to the lobby door. The service was courteous and genuinely helpful. I am definitely using trip advice websites every time I travel.

We loved our stay and will definitely love to stay there again

40 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for business

Hotel was aweful! Smelled like mold, pet urine and other nasty things. Their fitness center is a joke, pool is green, spa was broke, business center shut down, breakfast was cold and there was dog poo behind the bed in the bedroom. No hot water, no internet, and our housekeeper stole $55 out of our suitcase. STAY AWAY THIS PLACE IS GROSS!!!

Our family loved this place! From the moment we checked in, we loved the setting, the amenities, and appreciated the staff. The suite was extremely comfortable....the beds and linens are phenomenal. Even my son raved about the sleeper sofa.

The housekeeping staff and office staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They even allowed us to have a late check-out on our last day. Bathroom was a bit on the small side. Wonderful location too! We loved having our own balcony with an ocean view - - the the rocking chairs on the balcony are a great touch.

My only "negative" comment was the the pool was on the chilly side...it needed to be warmer.

We're looking forward to planning another visit!

34 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We stayed at this hotel on a trip to Omaha for a visit to Henry Doorly Zoo. Other than the fact that it was not in close proximity to the zoo, it was a great place to stay. The front desk staff was very friendly and helped us choose a perfect spot for dinner and let us know about other nearby attractions. The pool was great for our 5 year old and we had it and the hot tub pretty much to ourselves. The pool was not real large, but the temperature was just right. The beds were wonderful. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was above average for a continental breakfast with several choices available, both hot and cold. Even though it is a little farther to drive to the zoo or the baseball stadium, we will definitely return on our next visit to Omaha!
