If you ride a motorcycle stay away from the Palace Hotel at Disney. We were touring Florida and had tickets to Cirque du Soleil so we booked two rooms for only one night. From the moment we arrived in front of the hotel on our Harley Davidsons we were treated rudely and it clear we were not welcome. We were not allowed to park in front of the hotel while we checked in but had to park in the parking lot first. At the desk the duty manager walked over and whispered something to the lady checking us in and she told us they were booked up full. After we stated we had confirmed reservations they advised us that there would be a $75.00 hold on our credit card for each room in the event we damaged the room. Although our reservations were for resort view king rooms we received rooms in another building with a bad view of the pool and two full size beds. The Cirque du Soleil was wonderful but the attitude of the hotel staff almost ruined the trip.

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the pool area is very nice. The hotel is within walking distance of Bright House Networks Field. We had a problem with the air conditioning unit in the room and it didn't cool adequately.

For the money, the hotel is very nice. And its location made it unnecessary to use our rental car to attend Phillies Spring Training games.

The Econo Lodge hotel is perfectly located for Phillies fans attending Spring Training as it is only three blocks from the team's ballpark. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The only problem with our room last year was a faulty air conditioning unit.

This was a business trip I had to make for a home-based business. I stayed at the most inexpensive place close to where I needed to be each day. I was very concerned about price for this particular trip.
