Worst hotel experience of life. Did not stay because room was filled with cigarette smoke and cockroaches were running around. Even the hotel lobby was stinking of cigarette smoke. Alternate room was offered in the same hotel but declined due to noisy inmates in nearby rooms. Was forced to move to another hotel at higher rate. Surprisingly, online reviews gave good rating. Lost confidence in online reviews-I wish web sites post latest reviews.

We were going to Duke Hospital for an appt the next early morning. We stayed at this inn for $50.00. It is easy to get to the hospital and very close. There is a gas station/food mart right by it and many stores, Kroger, Wendy's, Arby's, and ...
The security bar on the door was broken, the sink handle was broken (only hot water available), the room was not clean, the coverlet was hideous & dirty, it smelled really bad (even after Febreeze). The only positive note was the pillow top...
The room was very clean even for a smoking room. The room was very comfortable and enjoyable for one night; service was great. Coffee at anytime as well as ice; the only thing was I had to ask for more towels in the room.
