Budget Suites of America Las Vegas

You know what I find what you guys say very hard to believe. I live at budget suites in Lewisville, Texas and pay 208 a week to live here, 30 dollar deposit, in a 1 bedroom. Considering my internet, cable, electric, water, and furniture are payed for within that 208, its not too much more than an apartment (though smaller) but really all I can afford with my income and credit. My room was extremely clean when I got here, staff was very friendly, neighbors are very friendly . This really feels more like a very small apartment than a hotel.

My wife and I stayed in the Budget Suites on N. Rancho for a few weeks while our house was being finished. Upon booking a room over the phone, it seemed affordable and tolerable as we were only there a few weeks. This notion changed when we got there. The room was filthy, smelly and had a mattress that must have been 15 years old on it. The couch was just a few pieces of wood with ripped up fabric on it. The A/C was cold, and the T.V station lineup was OK, but that's about it.

The staff was outrageously rude and extremely unprofessional. I was greeted with attitude, often ignored and spoken to as if I was an idiot (while the "manager" was sitting there. If that wasn't enough, at any point in the day, there were unsupervised children all over the place, 1/2 naked people walking around, prostitutes at night, drugs and drug dealers and lots of domestic disputes.

The base rate was $39.00/night plus a surcharge plus other fees so it wound up being closer to $60.00/night when it was all said and done. No refunds and prepare to dish out big $ your first night there for cleaning (which isn't done) and other misc. fees.

PLEASE do yourself a big favor...do not even think about staying at this dump.

By far, it was the filthiest room I've ever been forced to stay in...paid in advance, no refund.

No A/C first 2 nights and it was 105 degress during the day. I asked for refund at check out, I was told that the manager would call me. It's been over a week, no call.

I had to vacuum the carpet myself at check in. The walls, the floor, everything was filthy, dirt. There were fingernails, etc., you name it, everywhere. Extremely poor maintenance of the equipment and the room. You will be risking your life if you stay here. No joke.
