This is a modest, clean, comfortable hotel that we often stop at when driving to visit my parents. The hosts were pleasant and accommodating. The restaurant had just re-opened and had the friendliest people and a good breakfast. The managers seem to keep the place in good shape, updating beds and pillows etc. It is a convenient location for us.

This hotel made me feel secure: The rooms usually seem to have solid locks, the parking areas are lighted, and the desk is manned twenty-four hours. The ones we have stayed at are in reasonably good neighborhoods.

I like the friendly clerks and the cleanliness of the rooms.

We try to find reservations online for a motel or hotel along our travel path that has a microwave and refrigerator in-room, since our whole family is traveling. We also want a place that will accept pets, as we must travel with our dog. This Best Western turned out to be very good for us, since it fit the description above. In addition, we received coupons for the restaurant nearby and the air conditioning was excellent -- our room was cooled well despite being on the second floor and being in the midst of 102-degree summer Kansas temperatures. The price was very good, too. We would definitely stay here again when traveling through this part of the country!

The price was right, however, the rooms were outdated. For being a Best Western, they need a remodel. I liked the friendly staff and free high-speed Internet.
