This is a nice clean motel with a friendly and helpful staff. They let us know about nightly indian dancing at the Cortez cultural center and some great suggestions for dinner at local restaurants. Nice Continental breakfast that is quick and easy....
48 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Older, renovated, meticulously cleaned. Swimming pool is in need of renovation. Breakfast was something you put in the toaster and placed syrup on. The day I stayed there was no syrup. How would you like to have a waffle without syrup? No cereal or rolls.
Contractors had reserved many rooms where their employees were staying while working in the area. I would recommend staying here because of the renovation and the cleanliness. This is typically not a cheap area to stay in with the only attraction being Mesa Verde. My opinion is, see Mesa Verde and move on to your next destination.

Okay
The motel pretty much charges the higher rate but the motel is dated. The breakfast is, well I'm glad there is a Dennys across the street. Staff we dealt with was very nice.
54 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The person that checked me in was not welcoming. I don't see this hotel being rated a 3 star, there was no hairdryer, no coffee maker in the room and the window in the bathroom was painted open. Flys were in the room.
We chose the hotel from the sign out front and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly attitude of the staff, comfort of our room, and the convienience of the location. All of our needs were met and we would stay here again.
