Budget Host Badlands Motel Motel - Page 1

1. The staff was friendly and relaxed. More like staying with a family friend. I arrived late, so called to say so. They told me my room number, left room unlocked for us with key in room, and I registered the next morning. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful and again, like eating as a family guest. My partner prefers to stay at luxury hotels, but he'd stay here a gain, no question!

2. The room was a surprise - no TV! So we sat by the pool and looked at the stars. Wow!! We talked about the day and the trip. Wow! We connected with each other instead of tuning out. We also went to sleep earlier and got up earlier, enjoying the sunrise in the park. Wow!!

3. Bugs were attracted to the light outside the room and flew in when the door was opened. Agh! I unscrewed it and they were no longer a problem.

Our host was extremely friendly and nice. Room was very comfortable with all the basic amenities. Showers for the campsites were clean.

Affordable rates. Spectacular view of the badlands from the motel/campground.
