We are a one bedroom B & B with a private library, kitchen and lake at your door.
NEW! A vintage 1963 Scotty Camper with a portable toilet, shower available outdoors for the adventurous at heart, only $75 per night! Has a kitchenette with refrigerator, double bed. Very cool!
The "sleeping room" as we like to call it in the South has a double "Lincoln bed" and two twins. We have several pop up beds which our guests are welcome to use in the Library. The "sleeping room" can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. It has a flat screen television. Charm, character, historically significant log house (Pending a National Historic registry) a small private lake with canoe at the end of a gravel road. Sleep to the sounds of crickets and the snap of an old fashioned ceiling fan. Close to the University of Alabama, (5 miles) we offer free transportation to and from game day activities!
We serve Mimosas (if desired) on Sunday morning and offer fruit, pastries and croissants with delicious coffee. (Self Serve breakfast at your leisure.) Stay here and you will never want to leave. Long term options available for visiting parents or executives visiting Mercedes Benz and other large suppliers to Mercedes. Ask about special rates for long term guests.
PLEASE NOTE: VERY IMPORTANT! We are a TWO room B & B and we must receive your deposit on time in order to keep your reservation. We are nice, good hearted people but this is a business for us and we have learned the hard way by losing money when people say they are going to send a deposit and don't we suffer financially. It isn't all about money with us and we have given the room for free to many people in need of a quick get-a-way who don't have the money to do so. But please adhere to our policy. Thank you for your patronage. We value our returning guests.
Thanks to all our returning guests, book now for Alabama Football games 2009. Booking
