Lots of stairs, dank, and dark

45 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Dark and old. Uncomfortable beds. You must pay one night's room in advance when you reserve on line and the cancellation policy is really unheard of ( 2 weeks notice and default of the draft they took on your credit card) in the hotel industry. Cold indifferent staff. Maid kept entering our room with her key in mornings without knocking. The stairs are extremely steep and difficult and there is not an elevator. The location is wonderful but it is not a good price compared to small hotels in the area. Still the location is nice. I wondered how long they will stay in business, it seems as if they are struggling, thus the draft of CC to keep them going financially. Would not stay again unless improved and would not recommend to friends.

This inn is in an excellent location - I could walk everywhere. It provides accommodating service for adults and kids.
