Where to start? On arrival, the glass vestibule door locked shut, trapping me like an insect while bored staff looked on, ignoring me while I pried the doors apart.
An enormous, badly managed queue greeted us at check in. The hotel lobby WiFi (The Cloud) was slow and poky.
The lifts are filthy and scarred.
The rooms weren't ready.
The hotel locker is open and unpoliced.
Someone had punched a hole in the wall of our room.
The heat didn't work -- neither did the heated towel-rail.
Drunks howled on the street below us.
The staff were thick and bored, asking us to spell our surname fifteen times at check in.
