The Bristol is a friendly and comfortable hotel in the heart of Zurich. Ideally situated near the main station, the river, the old town and only a few minutes by tram to the lake, the Bristol is the perfect location for the budget minded traveller. Rooms are clean and bright, with attractive laminate wood floors and private bathrooms, mostly with shower, some with bathtub. The rooms are reasonably spacious, and quiet, as they look onto a quiet side street. Each room features cable TV, direct dial telephone, WIFIconnection, and voice mail. Most rooms for 2 people have twin beds rather than a double bed. The hotel can accommodate families of up to 4 people easily in its quad rooms. A generous continental breakfast buffet is offered to guests included in the price, in the softly lit breakast room, including different types of cereal, boiled eggs, toast, breads, coffee, tea and orange juice. NB. All rooms have en suite facilities. Please also note that from Dec 2005 to Apr 2006 there will be some renovations, as the hotel is building a new reception on the lower ground floor. This will not affect the bedrooms at all, and building work will only take place from 8am to 6pm. Until December 2006, part of our building will undergo renovation. This portion is separate to the current accommodation facilities. Apart from some construction noise during the working hours 08.00 to 18.00, normal hotel operation will not be affected.
