On Sept. 19, 2008 in the evening we went to Brighton Suites to check in. We had reservations. We parked in lobby level parking garage handicap spot. BJ checked us in and told us we had to move car to basement level lot because they had vans coming...
Hotel was very nice. It was close to restaurants and shops. The beach was only a block away. The staff was nice and the room was very clean. I would definately stay again.
We would never, ever stay at this hotel again. Front desk staff was very unfriendly - we were greeted rudely because our big pickup truck did not fit in their garage. No smiles like you get at the Hampton Inn.

We stayed at the Brighton this week as they were recomended by sports at the beach baseball. We stayed with the team. This is a very nice hotel in a great location only 1 block from the beach. They provide beach chairs and towels which most hotels around there do not. The room was clean but old. We had a double bed suite that slept the 5 of us just fine. Fridge and coffee maker in the room and nice cold a/c.
The pool is the smallest I have ever seen, they had off street parking which was nice. The people that work in this hotel were nasty, I mean nasty. Customer service was never a thought in their minds. No matter what your need is they just didnt care. It made a relatively nice stay seem horrible.
HAS FIVE DAY CANCELLATION POLICY. IF YOU DON'T CANCEL WITHIN FIVE DAYS OF RESERVATION, YOU WILL BE CHARGED ONE NIGHT'S RATE PLUS TAX. HAD RESEVATION FOR ONE NIGHT - $179 A NIGHT - PAID $200 CANCELLATION CHARGE. STAFF UNWILLING TO BEND POLICY.

We got a special package deal which was a surprise for booking at the last minute. The hotel has the best location for restaurants and the beach. The restaurant served an outstanding breakfast and we got coupons for a free breakfast.
I am very likely
to return to the Brighton Suites Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again. real close to the beach.
The hotel was a disaster. The bathroom had spots of mold on the ceiling and the shower curtain had a large area of mold on it. This triggered an allergic reaction in my wife (she gets allergy shots and pills), causing itching and swelling in her...
