Quaint and romantic

45 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We were ready to check in to a local motel when we found the Brigadoon's ad in a local paper. With a quick call we found there was 'room at the inn'. The room (we stayed in the one pictured on the website) was immaculate, well furnished and charming. The owners were gracious hosts furnishing wine, coffee and tea in the afternoon along with great brownies. Breakfast was fabulous with fruit, muffins, coffee, tea, OJ, and a choice of bacon and eggs or a Belgian waffle. We rated the inn a 9 because there has to be something that keeps it from being perfect, but we coundn't find it.
