My 10-year-old son and I traveled from Minnesota to Boston for spring break, both to visit relatives and to introduce him to some of the tourist-y things I'd taken for granted growing up in Massachusetts. This was our second stay at the Boston...

This hotel has it all - harbor and skyline views, all the amenities business travelers, tourists and families expect in a 5-star hotel, and beautiful but comfortable furnishings. The history of the architecture and surrounding wharf make for great ambience and a sense of old-world seafaring culture. The hotel has wireless Internet access throughout, as well as in-room wired Internet, for $9.95 a day, as well as a business center. The bar is known for having the largest selection of Scotch Whiskeys in Boston, and the restaurant menu is arranged by wine pairings. There is a full-service spa and fitness center with a pool, and both guests and area businesspeople and residents who join may use them. The location in the heart of downtown Boston means easy access to public transportation, shopping, dining and sightseeing.

We had a suite over looking the harbor with beautiful views. The Meritage Restaurant was unique. You can order wine by the glass which is paired with small dinner portions. It was a lot of fun. Good wine and good food. The hotel is a bit of a walk from Fanueil Hall and downtown Boston but manageable. It's worth a visit.

We stayed here for my sister's wedding on the Odyssey in the harbor. The Boston Harbor Hotel was so convenient being right there on the water. We were so glad not to have to deal with the chaos of Boston traffic and parking, especially since we had a wedding going on and I had my two baby girls with me. This hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. The staff was very "on the ball" as well as courteous. They never made it seem like anything that I asked for was too difficult or complicated. True professionals in the hospitality business. I will be staying here again.
