I have nothing but good words about this hotel. The on the water location is perfect and the view is outstanding, the restaurant with its evening entertainment is great and the rooms are lovely. I understand they are planning a refurbishment, too, which will just enhance the experience.

This hotel made me feel respected: I was welcomed at the front door, help was provided with my luggage, the front desk knew my name and had my reservation ready on arrival. It is a wonderful hotel that knows how to execute the art of hospitality.

This is a good hotel for business. a few slip-ups (no response for fifteen minutes from 24 hr room service at 5 am), no turn-down service on one day, the breakfast ten minutes late on another.

But their staff is friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the views are great.

We stayed at the Boston Harbor Hotel in March, 2006 and had a fantastic stay. The location is excellent (1 Block from Fanueil Hall) but there is alot of construction out in front of the hotel.

The staff goes out of their way to greet you and they are extremely helpful with directions and attraction information.

We stayed in a street view room but I would highly recommend spending more to stay in a harborview room.

The average $300 rate is well worth it considering the level of service and location of the hotel.

There are 2 restaurants which are very convenient and offer an outstanding variation of food selections.

A great idea is to take the small boat parked in back of the hotel to Logan Airport which is located right across the small harbor.

I would not hesitate in staying there again!

The hotel has a amazing view from the balcony of each room where you can view the river as people are sailing on the Charles right in the backbay of Boston. The service is acceptable we brought our luggage to the lobbyist and they kindly helped us upstairs.

The hotel manager was nowhere to be found, so we headed to the dining and wine area for some food and drinks. A tad expensive for our tastes but we are moderate people who don't mind to spend a little more and with that said, the food was delicious and wine tasted great with the food.

And they do not skimp on comfort, the hotel packs each room with ample amount of sheets and pillow for maximum leisure. If you would like to go rowing or sailing, there is a special service request to rent equipment and enjoy the day out on the open river for a nice relaxing trip down the stream.
