Mediocre

So, while it has a decent location, I was a little turned off by the grape and bottle cap (neither were ours) stuck in the drain in the bathroom sink. The alarm clock was broken and I really didn't enjoy waiting outside in the rain at 6am for someon

traveling for leisure

I can only say in their favor that the place was relatively clean....it appears. The several loud drinking parties that were going on around me negated that fact. Furthermore, repeated calls to the front desk from 1 AM to 3 AM got only busy signal

clean room on the cheap side – Posted Jul 15, 2008

Okay
60 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

My husband and I were a little nervous about this cheap rate since the rates in Boston are so high, but this turned out to be a nice little motel. It is old but clean and the staff was really nice. Of course it does not compare to a $200 room but just for a place to stay while traveling or siteseeing, it was nice enough. We were a little worried what type of area it would be and it was a nice little suburb. Also, we went to the local library to see the oldest flag in America. We went on a tour of boston and the Boston Tours picked us up at a hotel near I-95 just down the road. We really enjoyed it and Richard, our tour guide was well versed on history. We felt good that we were riding around in air-conditioning when we saw people burning up on the trolley buses and the duck boats. I would recommend taking the subway to JFK Library since signs are not Boston's best side. They don't seem to care how much you get lost. Richard warned us to take the subway but since we had a rental car we felt we needed to put it to use. Since we go to Maine nearly every year, we will stay at this little motel again.
