Borg's Ocean Front Motel - Page 1

The room was clean, the people we met were interesting, and the view was spectacular.

If you're expecting 5 Star ameneties then don't bother staying, but if you want a Motel with a Super Great Location, just steps from the Bay, then the Borgs is the place for you. Make sure you ask to stay at the upstairs Ocean View rooms. You can sit outside your room and gaze at the Bay. The staff is friendly and very accomodating. The rooms are clean. The prices are the cheapest you'll find for such a great location. I admit the Motel is old, but it does have charm, and that's why we keep coming back.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at! I don't know what year the hotel was built but it apparently hasn't been updated since...and it's been many years! Besides the decor being from the 1950's, and the bed being so hard it was like sleeping on cement, I had to duck down to even get under the shower head in the tiny shower! I'm only 5'6" so I can't imagine being a tall man and trying to shower there. We had booked for 2 nights but after one miserable night we took our aching necks and backs up to the office and cancelled the 2nd night. We moved next door to Lovers Point Inn for the 2nd night and not only was it cheaper, but so much better! So take my word and don't book a stay at this hotel!
