Classic Italian style meets modern sophistication at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City. The first new casino hotel in the East Coast entertainment capital in more than 13 years, the 43-story tower stands as both the largest hotel and the tallest building in the entire state of New Jersey. Located at Renaissance Pointe overlooking the marina, Borgata brings an all-encompassing, Las Vegas-style travel destination to Atlantic City. The 1. 1-billion seaside resort-a joint venture of Boyd Gaming and MGM Mirage-offers a broad range of activities, a brand of hospitality, and a level of service designed to please business and leisure travelers alike. Few hotels can rival the impressive scale and breadth of amenities. The 125,000-square-foot casino, for instance, holds 145 gaming tables and more than 3,600 slots. Headline acts from around the globe appear at the 1,000-seat Music Box Theater, while the 2,400-seat events center can stage anything from major events to top-flight meetings and conventions. Even the parking lot elicits awe with its space for up to 7,100 vehicles. All 2,002 guest rooms and suites offer Sealey beds, 300-thread-count custom Egyptian cotton linens, armoires with refrigerators, high-speed Web access, and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city, marina, and Atlantic Ocean. Lavish bath- rooms come with oversized glass-enclosed showers, marble walls and floors, granite countertops, Egyptian cotton bath sheets, and all-natural, essence-based grooming products by Lather. The six categories of accommodation range from Classic Rooms to the twin Residence Suites, which manage to pack marble fireplaces, grand pianos, 12-seat dining rooms, 60-inch plasma-screen TVs, private exercise rooms and spas, and butlers pantries into 5,000 square feet of domed ceilings and fresco-painted walls. Equally expansive-and impressive-the resorts dining selection includes 11 destination restaurants. They range from the modern Italian of Specchio and the prime b.

We have always been pleased with the service, our rooms have always been comfortable and all the personnel we have talked to have been more than pleasant and willing to address any problems that we had. It is definitely a place to stay for a relaxing time

This was a great hotel when it first opened. Now they take their regular customers for granted. They say they want people to come to the new restaurants and shops but they treat these customers horribly.
pros: I hear they are trying to improve service, I have not seen itI went back to the Borgata after being away for a year and it's turned into a poor exp for those of us who enjoy gaming. Yes, some of us like to gamble and don't want or need the...

Luxury in Look and Skid Row in Attitude. This place is absolutely beautiful. But, unfortunately, the staff is truly pompous, self-important, anti-customer and untrained in customer service.

It was a beautiful suite and it was complimentary. The comfort and the ambience in the Borgata hotel rooms are hard to beat. The rooms are always spotless and they have the most comfortable beds. No expense has been spared for a great stay. The entry is convenient to parking garage. The service is lacking at the Metropolitan and they also need to expand their menu. The cleanliness there is also less than expected. The cafeteria offers a pretty good choice but the service there is also very slow and most of the people are less than friendly and somewhat hard to understand. However, the seating is very comfortable in the area. The Borgata buffet is only fair and the food is sometimes dried out, it cannot compare with some of the other Atlantic City buffets. It appears the Borgata hotel caters to a younger crowd. The shops are also overpriced. The casino itself offers a great variety of games but the payouts are not that good. The cigarette smoke is sometimes overpowering. The security is excellent throughout the hotel.
They have a guard posted at the entrance to the living room on the way to the elevators to our suite. The guards are very diligent at stopping everyone to check their ID before allowing them to enter. There are also security people throughout the hotel main areas. The hotel is also well lit and there are very visible areas where security windows are. At check in, they do not announce your room number either so no one knows. At check in they are also very diligent about making sure you are the correct person for the reservation and they also check ID of everyone using the room, not just the ID of the person in whose name the reservation is in.

The Borgata hotel is a wonderful, beautiful hotel and there is nothing not to like, although most of the clientele is much younger than myself and that makes me feel uncomfortable.

I absolutely love this hotel. This is the only hotel in Atlantic City that I will stay in. Everything is clean and beautiful and elegant. I have never had a problem or been disappointed with this hotel and casino.
The Borgata hotel is very generous with their complimentary hotel room offers so I can get away for a few days and not spend a huge amount of money.

The hotel was quite beautiful. The service and the attention to service were wonderful. The rooms were very nice and they had great amenities. The staff went out of their way to make sure that my stay was hassle free and pleasurable.
Check in was a breeze. They explained the services that they offered and they asked if there was anything that they could help me with. They provided service with a smile!
