This 'resort' is clearly in decline. There is nothing of redeeming value here except same good views. Look elsewhere

the room was not what we anticipated. It was worn, with a ripped carpet, overlooking a parking lot. We asked for a room change, and were given it, but it was not mentioned that we would pay substantially more. The room we were given was in better condition than the first, but not much. The rooms are very dated, and run down. I would suggest to the owners that it's time for updates. The outdoor pool had a nice green algae growing, and the indoor spa was closed "for repair" as was the exercise room. The dining room was nice, and the service was good. Alexandria Bay is a nice place to visit, but we will not be staying here again, unless the updates are done.

Jacuzzi room was OK. Jacuzzi is older but functioning. Room was spacious with an older king size bed. No flaws, but could use some updating.

The food and the service were excellent. The accommodations were dated and in some cases worn. As a winter getaway it was fun given the jacuzzi tub, the rooms and the indoor common area pools and hot tubs.

The pool was cool and the bar was awesome. But it was not clean in the room, and the view from our room was unpleasant.
