with a budget, traveling for leisure

This is THE worse experience I've ever had.

To begin, it was supposed to be a non-smoking room however there was a lingering smell of smoke.

Next the bed was a spring bed-we woke up very sore-very unpleasant. Not to mention the sheets had a blood-like stain and a old dried up pee or substance on the mattress.

We requested 2 extra sheets and the man who gave it to us didn't care to much for the stained sheet...he never asked for it back to investigate.

The tub had old grime stains plus the tv show Adult programs - I'm assuming this was not intentional.

The only good thing was it's location. Right next to Young and Dundas..the "Times Square" of Toronto.

I am not likely to return to the Bond Place Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

60 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The location was great for exploring downtown Toronto. The concierges were very helpful in planning trips and navigating the area. All the hotel staff was friendly and the food in the hotel restaurant was tasty.

I am very likely to return to the Bond Place Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

25 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

The hotel was right across from the Canon Theatre were my wife and I were seeing a show. The hotel was also within easy walking distance of the Eaton Center and many good restaurants. The rooms and the beds were small, but the location and the low price were the key.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Bond Place Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.

Definitely stay away from this awful hotel. The homeless stalk you outside. I swear it used to be a homeless shelter. I will never pick cheap over convenience ever again. I felt like I was in the movie “Trainspotting”.

18 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

I had to stay at this hotel for a boyfriend "at the time" fraternity's formal. I looked at the hotel's website before I left for Toronto. It looked okay and I just had to go with the flow because there were about 200 more people staying there staying with us too.

When we arrived, there was only one person at the front desk when 100 guys were all trying to check-in at the same time. The restaurant looked nasty so we went to Subway for a quick salad while waiting for our other friends to check-in since we were so hungry. After dinner when we got back to the hotel, we had to use our keycard to work the elevator since the guy at the front desk said "Homeless people try to sleep in the hotel's elevator!" Then, the showers sucked. They barely got hot and the hotel had such bad, thin, uncomfortable towels. The beds were itchy and when I woke-up the next morning I felt like I had to take another shower because the bed seemed so dirty.

The maids did an awful job cleaning the rooms. The worst part was that our door wouldn't close all the way at night. Talk about a hotel not being safe and extremely sketchy. Do not stay here and next time I go back to Toronto, I am picking the hotel myself! The only plus is the hotel's location and their fully stocked bar.

I am not likely to return to the Bond Place Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.
