Horrible
Boardwalk plaza is outdated, faded, dirty, smelled of mildew, broken t.v., flies in room. Small, rough bath towels and the side with a view we were on overlooked a bar that was loud. Other patrons were at the front desk w/ complaints along with me...

Mediocre
It needs lots of updating. The carpets are very old and smelly. The bathrooms need to be overhauled and the decor needs to be at least dusted. The staff was very nice. How can they charge that much a night and get away with it? I give it 2 diamonds.
2006 Valentines weekend we stayed in Ocean City,Md.A storm hit ice, snow, wind on the sunday we left O.C. road conditions became worse as we headed home.We reached Rehoboth, the two of us not sure about the next hour of driving, the first place we hit...

For years my extended family was a happy consumer of all the Boardwalk Plaza could offer, the rooms, the restaurant, the bar, the Sunday brunch, and the gift shop. That all ended at 9:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve when the staff not only did not honor our twice-confirmed 8 p.m. dinner reservation, but in effect told us to hit the road. No apologies, no "There, there," no offer to send around a few lousy appetizers or a glass of champagne, but a sequence of lies about the table being "ready in a minute," etc.
My new hobby in Rehoboth will be to deflect whatever commerce/revenues from that hole as often and as aggressively as I can. And I've got about 30 good years left in me to pursue this goal.
Once a glamourous place, not anymore

Mediocre
We just returned from a four day stay at the Plaza in which we were truly disappointed. Based on a rather positive experience last year we thought that we would try it again this year. The furnishings are not our style but the location is great so...

This hotel is overrated, it should be a three star at most. The hallways smelled awful - like really bad mildew. Their rooms were sub par; no enclosed closets, not nearly enough drawers, and no full length mirror. The bathrooms were basic tile, very small, and came with two old and rough bath towels. We were without power twice in a four day stay and no accommodation was offered. Other than the location and a good restaurant, there is nothing four star about this hotel.
Just spent a wonderful birthday weekend at this fabulous hotel. From the beginning, our stay was enchanting. Knowing we were celebrating a special occasion, we were upgraded to the 4th floor, oceanfront, with its extra amenities such as the...

All Review Photos This is probably the swankiest hotel in Rehoboth (and, honestly, the only one I've stayed in). The Boardwalk Plaza is, under the skin, a cinder block box just like every other hotel. The difference is the details; Victorian-era...
