Blue Star Motor Inn Traveler Review

Convenient location, low rates, clean, comfortable no-frills rooms/beds although nothing special. Nice, helpful staff (some are familiar returns year after year), pool, poolside and grounds are well maintained. I prefer the front rooms attached to the office in an 'L' shape, but the next set of rooms (second level on property) seem to be a bit more spacious and updated; however, they are further away from the office, pool, and grills. I've seen families with children and I've taken several of my elders there many times. I've also stayed four in a room or alone on occasion and always felt perfectly safe. The free donuts and coffee in the a.m. are a popular plus with everyone!! I think they should add fruit juice and tea for the non-coffee-drinking guests.
