Mediocre
After a terrible experience with the person at the front desk (Bob) I will never return to the hotel or recommend it. He was disrespectful, accusing, rude, and in general a nasty person. When we had problems with our room he accused us of causing...

We visit Morro bay at least once a month and this is the only hotel we will stay at. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The hotel owners are incredibly friendly and the most helpful people you will ever meet. On one of our stays we arrived about...

Our stay in Morro Bay could have been perfect hadn't it been for the horrible attitude of the grouchy old man who claims to be the "proud manager of that hotel for over 13 years". I am really surprised he has make it that far treating customers like it is our fault that he has to work, furthermore, I am surprised that the owner of this hotel hasn't realized he's losing customers just because of the way this man treats people. Does he really get paid for treating people so pourly???
The least one expects when going on vacation is to have a decent place to stay at and of course to receive a good treatment given the fact that one is paying for it.. well in this case, if was like if this man hated the fact that he had to deal with guests and he couldn't wait for us to leave. What a horrible experience!.
If you want to avoid being treated unrespectfully and in a real mean way DO NOT EVER stay at the Blue Sail Inn. This kind of people should not even be allowed to deal with customers. This could easily ruin someone's vacation.

From the minute we checked in, the Manager at the front desk was rude. Last night there the toilet overflowed all over bathroom and out onto rug. We hurried and cleaned up with dry towels to save the 2 inches of water from going to room below. No appreciation. The man who came to fix toilet and take wet towels blamed us for overflow. He used profanities and threatened my daughter. Questioned us if we used toilet paper to wipe. Horrible experience and customer service. No air conditioner and loud parties in back of hotel, leaving us with sleepless nights.

The manager was horrible. This grumpy old man made us feel like we worked for him and that we were at fault for everything that went wrong. First off they gave us a room with only one bed when we had reserved a room with two. I called the front desk and he told me I should have asked for two beds when I booked the room like it was my fault. This old guy was a joke! When we finally got into a room with two beds it smelled like mold and mildew. Well go figure two nights into the stay our toilet overflowed and they did nothing about it. No wonder the room smelled like mold. Oh and by the way there are no air conditioning units in these rooms.
The second night of our stay we needed an extra blanket and a bar of soap. When I asked the same old man told me I should have told him earlier in the day. It was 5:00 in the afternoon and they were the ones who did not replace the soap from the day before. This manager was such a grump! I feel like we were totally ripped off. There are plenty of other hotels in this area I would not recommend wasting one night at this one.

When we told the manager that we were unhappy with his treatment of us, he said "Well, there are 40 other places to stay." Now that's customer service!
The manager is extremely rude. The maid didn't bring us another (tiny) bar of soap on our second day, so we had to go to the front desk to ask. It was 6 pm. He said, "You should have come earlier, now I have to go in the back and get it." So he proceeded to walk to the next room and get the soap. When our toilet flooded the entire bathroom, they wouldn't help us clean it up and we had to go get new towels ourselves. The maintenance man began asking personal questions about how much toilet paper had been used and said some nasty words to us. I have never stayed at a place this unprofessional with this rude of people.

We will definitely stay here again!
