The accommodations were above average. The location is a bit inconvenient (20 min walk to metro). Neighborhood is marginal but up and coming.

The space for the price was a real bargain. Televisions were being installed in every room when I was there and I enjoyed being able to watch cable tv at my own leisure. The service was friendly and I enjoyed the special treatment I was given by the staff. It will be on my list when I have friends or family visiting the Washington area.

I especially liked the breakfast. The staff was very helpful in directing me to sites downtown, where I could catch the bus, and where the best spot to get off the bus for where I wanted to go for the day.
