Built in 1902, this Tudor style summer home was one of the "Berkshire Cottages" of that era. Purchased by the Fitzpatrick family in the early 1980's and completely restored, Blantyre grew from its early days as a bed and breakfast to one of the finest hotels in North America, and is a member of the renowned Relais & Chateaux Association since 1984. Okay
The place is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. However, I had the unpleasant experience of watching the owner berate an employee for no apparent reason. It was very disturbing and I am not sure I would go here again. The restaurant was okay....

i loved this hotel, it was elegant and wonderful for my parents, my finoce and i to relax and have quality time together!!! i would strongly recomend this hotel.
pros: Impeccable Service, Luxury, The little touchesThere is no equal. You can look high and low but to have the bed and breakfast intimacy taken to this level of American loyalty in an old castle like building is not to be found anywhere.
