Big Bend Resorts Chisos Mountains Lodge

This hotel's location was awesome. Tourists should fill up on gas before entering the park, and the nearby gas station (7 miles) from the lodge takes ATM cards 24 hours a day. We arrived at night - I would also not recommend that, unless you have been there before. Don't expect anything fancy, but the staff is very friendly and hardworking. The rooms were clean and comfortable, well attended by the housekeeper. It was very simple, geared to keep you with nature (no TV in the room). The food at the restaurant can get a little old if you are used to variety, but the breakfast was awesome.
